wren08So... I have all the chores done for this weekend and I have managed to get rid of the headache/toothache for the moment- Thank Pan for that!
I have also discovered that if I am going to sleep in on the weekends, I have to get up and feed the puppy breakfast and let her out and then go back to bed. I woke up this morning and she had eaten all the cat food and made a small mess- she didn't get in trouble for that because I figure it was my fault. She also whined to go out as soon as I got up- Good Bitsy! It helps that her tummy troubles have abated.
She's definitely making herself at home-
As you can see, she's not the starved scared puppy she was two weeks ago! She also has a lot to say... but only when she is outside... inside, she doesn't bark- she only makes tiny noises to attract attention. I wish I could teach Emily the difference between inside and outside voices so well!
Bitsy also has a habit of rubbing her face up against things like a cat and trying to wash her face after she eats- is this normal dog behaviour?
Today I plan to make food at appropriate times and work on my quilt- I intend to finish the June block and add a groundhog to February's block... where I'll go from there, I'm undecided. I could work on March, I could work on September or I could work on April. In any event, I need to work on quilting more- I have so many to finish! (I have so many to start....) I've decided that, while I'm going to enter the quilt in the fair, it really is not blue ribbon material- the quilting is not fine enough. *sigh*
I'm seriously considering getting the money out of the bank and paying off Eliz's car for her and letting her pay me back. More so because my Mom is considering the same thing- but at 5% interest. Yeah, I know it's a low rate.... but what kind of person charges their granddaughter interest? Sometimes I don't like my family very much- they don't act like proper family at all.
