wren08Well, isn't this peachy? I wanted to quilt tonight- was on my way to it- and I have left my glasses at work. Bother!
Tomorrow night, we have a "Literary Night" at Em's school for which she will receive extra credit. Since she needs all she can get, we will be attending. She gets to go off and talk to other kids about her favorite books- I get to sit in the gym and listen to a lecture on how to "enhance" her reading. I'm thrilled.
Em has also been having trouble with her hair- it won't stay clean. She washes it adequately but by the next evening, it's oily again. So I introduced her to "Dippety-Do, The Blue Shampoo". No, of course it isn't real Dippety Do- that was a styling gel and a horrible one and I think (I hope!) they don't make it any more. What this is is Dawn dish-washing liquid in a different bottle with a little water added to make it shampoo consistency. Dawn is the only thing that ever let me go more than 24 hours without washing my hair, maybe it will work for her too.
