wren08The taxes are done... done, I tell you! (As you probably surmised by the fact I had time to post recipes tonight)
As I was going in to work, I had a flash of inspiration and stopped at the medical clinic next door to work and explained my situation and asked them to print out the form for me. I had it in two minutes. I ran next door and picked up a box of donuts and took it back for the whole office to share as a thank you gift... that was really really nice of them.
The funny thing is, I got the business stuff done last night... it was the child credit that I couldn't get the form for. And I am never never never going to start a business again without starting a separate paypal for it! Paypal just doesn't sort the way I need them to for splitting out non-business transactions. It took me hours to print pages and go through and highlight transactions... and then the addition! It's a good thing I'm good at maths.
As it turns out, the business is the only thing for which I had to pay taxes. Everything else, I didn't make enough money to owe anything... and I should get enough back to look into re-doing the living room now if I can find a serious deal on flooring. I'll have to see about that... it's a BIG room. But there is hope... if I can get a good deal on the floor, I think I have enough wood to build the shelves I want around the kitchen door in lieu of a pantry and I can usually find paint for not too much. It won't be nearly as expensive as the library, for certain!
Time for bed... I'm really short on sleep this week.
