Oh well, if you insist...
I'm slightly disgruntled with Anna. She has been getting on the counter and getting grapes to take down in the floor for herself. Silly kitten! You can't eat the grape (It's too big for her little-big mouth) and you can't even taste the sweetness. Ok, so grapes were on sale for 99ยข a pound... I still don't want them wasted. I'd be a lot more angry with her if she hadn't been so cute doing it.
So it's Mardi Gras. I've had cake and cheese and I intend to have wine in a minute. Then I'm going to give up sugar for Lent. Mom's planning to give up smoking... I keep wanting to remind her that the church she goes to is Baptist and Baptists don't observe Lent.
Tonight I made roasted asparagus and mushrooms... mostly because I had both of them in the house and needing to be used up. I'll take it in for lunch one day this week. I've also caught up all my posted recipes with the ones in my cookbook. You could have guessed that, I suppose.
Work is work and I am glad to have it inspite of my idea for a political commentary in a quilt.
Emily is trying very hard to behave. Of course, I'm bribing her with the promise of getting her PSP back.
My new logic puzzle book came yesterday... and I'm not yet finished with the old one. I should be... but I've had to spend two nights on too many problems because I was so wiped out when I went to bed.
Maybe I should go to bed now...
