Day 2016

I went to the dentist after work. The crown was not right so I have to go back Tuesday although they are going to wait for me so I don't have to go early as I did today.

While I was there, I gripped about Emily's therapist changing our appointment and then my Mom's doctor changing her appointment and how hard it was for me when I had to switch days and partial days off at work.

I came home and there was a message on my machine from the dentist asking to switch my appointment to tomorrow. Thank goodness I didn't get it until after I got home!

What is is with medical people? Do they think no one else has a job that might need to be planned for? However, I suspect that the reason I was given an after hours appointment was the gripping I did about everyone else.

Two mojitos and two episodes of Breaking Bad and I'm better... now for a shower and I'll see if I can whip up the energy to finish some things tonight.

Well, that was short lived

Emily has a habit of taking steamy showers for an excessively long time. Consequently, the wall paper in the bathroom has loosened up a bit around the edges. I just found a hand sized place where it apparently turned loose- and she tore it off so I wouldn't notice. This was only marginally effective- that was Tuesday. I found it tonight. When questioned about where the bit she tore off was, she informs me that she took it outside and put it in the large garbage can- probably to keep me from seeing it.

Wednesday was garbage day.

So now I have a bare spot that I can't even patch in the new wall paper in the bathroom.

Arrrgh! *headdesk*
