Day 2017

I was feeling really awful yesterday and had to come home from work early but I'm better today. I also had two steps back on the no S- I'm not saying the two are related but the correlation is suspicious.

I have been working on the sound files of the Hobbit from my Dad- I am loving the Spin it Again software! It's made it very easy to record records and tapes onto the computer and it saves as WAV, mp3 and more and lets you burn Cds immediately. I'm going to have to go through the Hobbit very carefully and read in any parts that were destroyed or that Dad missed and then do a lot of editing to split it into chapters but it's do-able. Any professional records or tapes would transfer with minimal editing. It also cuts out tape hiss and record pop and crackle- although it is better with records than tapes.

While I'm doing this, I'm working on finishing my Yellow Submarine top and quilting on anyone lived in a pretty how town. I have not gotten very much further on that since I took time off working on it to work on the living room but I'm picking it up again.

I still need to build shelves in the living room (and then build doors to put on them) but I've been feeling too bad to work on that. Sometime soon.

If I had two wishes, the second one would be to have three days that I didn't have either chores or work so I could get some things done!!

Evening of Day 2017

My mailbox was highly scented this afternoon! My Namaste got here today and I even got a compliment on it at work. I also notice that it is currently Heaven and Earth Essentials best seller which I do like- Barbara was so very nice to make it up, I want it to be terrifically popular for her. I think I will need a couple of back up bottles for myself as well.

I also got a lovely package with Karma, Breath of God and a sample of Skipping Vespers which will be nice when I want to take it with me.

I'm having a little trouble with Dad's tapes- he doesn't seem to have been any good at pagination either. He also seems to not have been aware of the lead in and lead out times on a cassette tape.

I have finished the main part of the top of Yellow Submarine- I still have strips to go on the top and bottom- it seems to be wonky. I think I did not sew straight. Somehow it's ok that this one is wonky- Yellow Sub is a pretty wonky movie. And I think it should be quilted in waves.
