Well, now I have to pick up one of Elizabeth's friends who is also off the bus... fortunately Audrey does not live far out of the way.
Yesterday was a really bad day at work. I had to run the store again. Ryan's nephew got sick and he had to go pick him up from school.. and then Dale told a customer that we would spray out the bed of his truck (3" deep in mud) and then got on the phone with Chip leaving me to do it... so I got covered in mud and soaked. I told him I needed to go home and change so he decided he had to go home (car problems, you see) and told me he was leaving and went. I was so cold that I partly melted one of my shoes by getting too close to the heater trying to get warmer and a little dry.
Also my Mom has a friend that has two quilt tops she wants quilted. Mom asked me how much I would charge and was awfully miffed when I told her I would charge a couple of hundred. She seems to think I should charge like $50 for both of them... after all it won't take me that long... only a couple of months. (It will take me two years to do two tops! I was only even considering it because it was mom's friend.)
I finished my taxes... and my refund, substantial though it is, will not get me entirely out of debt as I had hoped it would.
On top of all this, I'm not sleeping well or much and I'm not being able to eat much of anything. Even brownies sound horrible. And I can't seem to get warm. In spite of this, I'm not loosing any weight.
I haven't heard from Coldwater Creek so I guess I didn't get the job. I'm going to be stuck washing cars for the rest of my life. *sigh*
The barrier was broken (I'm assuming) on the train tracks on the way home yesterday and when I went around it, the train was at least half a mile away. I don't know if that's a good thing or not right now!
And just to ice the cake, I can't get in touch with my Dad to see how he's doing... or my brother for an update so I'm entirely out of that loop.
