It has been a lovely, lazy day. I hung out with 80s and we didn't do anything. Not movies or music or cooking- we did do a couple of small chores around my house (he folded my laundry- OMG!) we just sat and talked and relaxed.
It was a beautiful day- the high was 70° and I opened every window in the house so we could listen to the crickets (or frogs- I don't know but they are noisy little buggers whatever they are) and the wind chimes.
No arguments, no stress, no kids, no noise- I don't want to say it was a perfect day but it was damned close. Up in the afternoon, my bedside table got delivered and we watched Christopher Titus- very funny! I made a nice simple dinner while he fixed the tartburner that Emily broke day before yesterday and Emily played on the computer using some techniques he showed her- a reward for the five (yes, FIVE) 100% papers that she has had in the last two days.
After last week, man, I needed that!
