Day 2149 State of the wren
Feb. 8th, 2010 07:10 amI don't want to go to work today... this is mitigated by the fact that I don't have to go to work tomorrow. I will have to work Saturday this week- the one Saturday of the year that I agree to work. And I am going to be whipped- Valentine's Day in Floral is killer. Today I have to spend all day in the fridge- and I woke up cold.
I do have to go get the car looked at tomorrow and since I have to stay there with it, I am planning on taking my quilt to work on. I got June's block finished but the groundhog is giving me trouble... it's so very small! I am determined though, so I should have it finished soon.
I ran out of coffee this morning and had to fall back on the flavored stuff that I keep in the freezer. I can't really grumble about that. Firstly, it's my own fault and secondly, how does one grumble about caramel coffee to start the week?
Alex's mouth is better and did not require a vet visit after all and Bitsy is trying very hard but over night just defeats her. She'll have more capacity and control as she grows- right now 6 hours is just too long.
Okay, off to it!
