On the good side, I have the cleanest bathroom in the county.
On the bad side, that was the hour I had intended to soak in a hot tub, not scrub the floor with a scouring pad.
On the bad side, my entire right side and back (and my backside!) are aching from scrubbing.
On the good side, it was a good workout!
On the bad side, a lot of the places on the linoleum I thought were stubborn dirt are actually damaged places in the linoleum.
On the good side, this answers definitely the question "Should I replace the floor?".
Yes, I am still depressed and not sleeping even as much as I usually do. However, if I keep pretending that I'm not depressed, eventually it will turn out to be true.
I had hoped to have one or maybe even two! days I could relax and read and quilt. But no, I have to go out tomorrow to get kitty litter... I'm flat out. And then Sunday Emily has been invited to a boy's birthday party. Which is only two hours long... but we have to get a gift and then it's all the way across town. So figure in at least two more hours out of the middle of my day.
Since I plan to go with her, however, and stay there, I can take my piecing and get some done on that, maybe.
I think it might be nice too to make a Birds in the Air quilt... especially if I can find lots of different wren prints.
