I think I should mention, after yesterday's post, that I don't mind people asking me to do mending jobs for them. It's a matter of time... a small mending job takes 5 minutes... a large one perhaps an hour or two and I am glad to do things like that for friends. It's just that a small quilting job takes half a year at least.
Part of my grouchy is that I have a mild infection in one eye which opthomological neosporin would fix in ten minutes... but I have to have a prescription for it. I see no sense in the world of making opthomological neosporin prescription only. It's not as if it could be abused...
On the other hand, I'll be ready to put together the center of the top of Merry Halloween in the next few days which makes me happy. I'll still have the borders to piece... including the extra one I want to add... but the center will be done. I need to get back to my coffee quilt as well as I only have a dozen more blocks to go before that top is ready to go together. Part of the major slow down on piecing is the job change... I no longer have any time to work on quilts at work. I don't even take a regular lunch break.
It's supposed to thunderstorm today... a good night to make chili, I think!
