What a good day I have had!
I got the insurance all licked... and started on the rest of the occasional work. The daily work I have down pat. On lunch I went to the store and found that Hersey's has a limited edition caramel syrup out just now. Hum... Caramel-truffle coffee, vanilla-caramel creamer with a shot of caramel syrup... that's not a drink, that's dessert!
I got to leave about 15 minutes early tonight... everyone else having left at 6:30... but I had a tiny bit of paper work to finish up so I stayed a few minutes. I still got home before dark tonight. And there were two packages waiting for me... 5 children's witch books... including The Littlest Witch (which is why I bid on the auction in the first place) and the rest of the Belgariad bound in leather.
I am also almost finished with the audio book of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and I should be finished with my quilt over the weekend (didn't I say that last weekend?).
I also shopped in my closet this morning and found a black linen suit that I made and had forgotten about and a burgundy silk blouse with the tags still on it... the first tag was to the most expensive department store in town and read $54.99. The second was a green hand written tag that read $14. I got it on clearance and actually paid about $2.50 for it. It goes perfectly with both black suits I have and also with a burgundy hounds-tooth wool suit.
