It's official... I turned in my two week notice yesterday. Chip talked me into working through October 6th which Sarah is okay with... He wanted me to work the 7th and 8th too but I'm not going to. He also wanted me to come in and work on my days off and then do some bookkeeping for him in the evenings but I doubt I'm going to do that. Part of my reason for leaving (an unvoiced part) is that they kept piling more and more stuff on me to do. I'm going to be busy enough as it is, learning a new job.
But I have to love a job that the 'interview' (which in my case was just filling out paperwork) ends with a hug!
And I am really glad to have my notice turned in... I hate that, I really really hate that.
On a much less serious note, I am having trouble keeping my pendulum clock running... it seems to have a catch in it and I have to keep tapping it to keep it going. (Very frequently, which is frustrating) I think I overwound it. But it does give a whole new meaning to the phrase 'watching the clock'!
