You have to hand it to the Catholics... they had some good ideas (interspersed between centuries of really bad ideas, perhaps). In our house, even though Vatican II is long past and we aren't remotely Catholic, we still have fish on Fridays. Why? Because that's one day of the week I don't have to figure out what to make for dinner... I already know. Fish. Hence, less stress.
Combine that with Saturday is Pizza night and I only actually have to expend brain power upon 5 dinners a week and one of them is almost always left-over night.(Usually Monday because I tend to cook a big Sunday dinner.) Heh... now I'm down to four nights a week.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind thinking... at all!... but I would much rather be thinking of something else than spending even 10 minutes wondering what to make for dinner.
In other good news, I seem to have my clock figured out. I have been toying with the pendulum trying to make it keep accurate time instead of gaining time all the time. So far today it seems to be spot on.
No, my book did not get here today. Bother. But my mouth is okay, barring a slight tenderness at the gum line of the temporary bridge. That is normal and to be expected.
