My room is finished!
Okay, the guy who was working on it is finished, the room is not finished. I still have to wash and stain and paint and decorate it before it will be ready for me to move things in. But now it depends on me, not someone over whom I have no control so it should move a bit faster.
Or maybe not... while I was figuring out everything I need to do in there I also came up with a whole list of things I have do to chore-wise... my least favorite being clean up the rose garden. I have to work today but I have tomorrow off so I should do that as soon as it's dry and get it out of the way. This evening (before 24) I'll try to knock out the chores I can do tonight and maybe get started on the clean up. Why is it that I didn't have any undone chores until I started to work on my room?
I may be on line less for awhile (if I can manage my addiction!) while I fix up my real world nest. And get the chores done... a never ending prospect. This is the last day off I will have without children until August. On the other hand, Elizabeth really doesn't want me bothering about much and Emily can help me with some of it... or not and play her own games. I'm sure I will have to stop every so often to play "Battleship" though!
