A couple of thoughts on (of all things) spit:
Cats aren't really clean, they're just covered in cat spit.
Silk is just solidified worm spit. But what lovely elegant worm spit!
I have weird random thoughts sometimes. It comes of letting my mind wander... it's too little to be out on it's own really.
My new room has windows! Oh joy, joy!
Yesterday and today were quite tiring. I had to manage all day yesterday and part of the day today... which means no lunch break either day. And then last night I was late getting home so Mom (being nice to me) had dinner on the table for her and Emily before I got home. Which was a little funny since I was late partly from having stopped at the store so I would have something for dinner for the girls. Anyway, I got Emily to eat hers at last and let me get home so I could fix me something to eat (I had a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast... at about 6:30 am... I was getting kinda hungry by 7:30 last night) and Emily insisted that she was still hungry and ate my dinner.
Okay, I know. She couldn't have been all that hungry... she'd already had one dinner and eaten that reluctantly... but I couldn't do anything else. I mean, I simply cannot eat when my child is sitting there telling me she's hungry and there's only supper for one. She did, at least, eat it all. I would have been more than mad if she hadn't.
And I can't believe we were doing cars in the sleet this morning... us and the post office...
"Neither rain nor sleet nor dark of night..."
