Your result for The Sorting Hat: A Comprehensive Harry Potter Personality Assessment [Test/Quiz]...

57% Ravenclaw, 60% Hufflepuff, 34% Slytherin and 41% Gryffindor!

You might belong in Hufflepuff,

Where they are just and loyal,

Those patient Hufflepuffs are true

And unafraid of toil;

The cardinal traits of Hufflepuff are loyalty, patience, kindness and hardworking. They are generally extraverted but not as socially ambitious as Gryffindors—they enjoy being around other people but do not require being in the limelight. Hufflepuffs place cooperation above conflict; they are also more emotionally balanced than some of the other houses. Unlike gryffindors, they do not have hot-tempers and are not as likely to become offended by criticism. Hufflepuffs are loyal to their beliefs and to their friends; once they've established roots, they stick with them. It takes a lot to convince them to change their worldviews. Although Gryffindors also exhibit loyalty, if their pride is hurt or their principles violated, Gryffindors will leave (whereas a Hufflepuff has stronger ties).

Hufflepuffs are much more steady and easygoing than the other Houses. They work hard, are very down to earth and not prone to flights of fancy. In contrast, the other houses are much more likely to be erratic in their behavior, especially Slytherins and Gryffindors due to emotional instability. Although Ravenclaws may also be hardworking and patient at times, they are more likely to be swept away by a new idea and abandon projects than a Hufflepuff would. There is another side to the Hufflepuff house, however:

Said Hufflepuff, "I'll teach the lot

And treat them just the same."

Good Hufflepuff, she took the rest a

And taught them all she knew,

Although some Hufflepuffs may clearly exhibit the traits of the house, others may simply not fall into any other category. Generally speaking, though, if someone doesn't exhibit any of the major personality traits of the other three houses, they most likely would fit the description of a Hufflepuff.

I Am A Lawful Good Human Ranger (7th Level)

Ability Scores:

Lawful Good A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. He tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished. Lawful good is the best alignment you can be because it combines honor and compassion. However, lawful good can be a dangerous alignment because it restricts freedom and criminalizes self-interest.

Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Rangers are skilled stalkers and hunters who make their home in the woods. Their martial skill is nearly the equal of the fighter, but they lack the latter's dedication to the craft of fighting. Instead, the ranger focuses his skills and training on a specific enemy a type of creature he bears a vengeful grudge against and hunts above all others. Rangers often accept the role of protector, aiding those who live in or travel through the woods. His skills allow him to move quietly and stick to the shadows, especially in natural settings, and he also has special knowledge of certain types of creatures. Finally, an experienced ranger has such a tie to nature that he can actually draw on natural power to cast divine spells, much as a druid does, and like a druid he is often accompanied by animal companions. A ranger's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that he can cast.

Your result for The Nerd? Geek? or Dork? Test...

Pure Nerd

78 % Nerd, 39% Geek, 26% Dork

For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.

A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.

A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.

You scored better than half in Nerd, earning you the title of: Pure Nerd.

The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led to being unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendences associated with the "dork." No-longer. Being smart isn't as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely Successful.

From [info]fountaingirl, who tagged me with the following:

List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
Tag seven people to do the same.
Do not tag the person who tagged you. (Changing this rule a bit because I can)

1. I hate driving. I always have because I am phobic about it and didn't get my license until I was 27. I only got it then because I had a baby who might need me to be able to drive and I was NOT going to let my baby down. On the up side- my license picture (taken on my 40th birthday, no less) is actually flattering.

2. I make lists of absolutely everything because it's the only way I can keep up with everything I want/need/should do. I'm not organized because I'm organized, I'm organized because I'm horribly absent-minded.

3. I'm mildly dyslexic.

4. I hate being late to the point of wanting to not go if I am going to be even two minutes late. This caused me to skip a number of classes in college.

5. I always have dozens of projects going- consequently, I am never bored as long as I am free to work on one of them.

6. I'm very shy and nervous about other people's opinion of me- I try not to be or at least not to obsess about it but it's still in there.

7. I work logic puzzles every night before going to bed. This has become such a habit that when I couldn't the other night, I had to repeat the multiplication tables in my head to slow down enough to fall asleep. On the good side, I still know them all which is a comfort.

If I volunteered to be with you, alone, for twenty-four hours, what would you ask me/you/us to do?

No comments are screened - this is for laughs and if you want to be private about it, send me a PM!

Re-post this in your journal and see what kind of responses you get.

Just read the "offenses" and if you've done it, you owe that fine. Keep going until you've read each "offense" and added up your total fine.

When you are done post this as "My fine is $........"
You don't have to confess your answers, just the amount of your fine.

Got something to ask...ask away

The problem with LJ: We all think we are so close, but some of us dont know much about one another. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away. Bonus points if you share a little known fact about yourself to me also!

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

and also

1) Where do you live right now? Do you like it? Where would you be living right now if you could chose another place?

2) I have an image of you in my mind, if I have not already seen a picture of you, but I may be wrong. Post a written description or photo of yourself *optional*

3) Tell me Who Do You Love! Are you married/in a long term relationship? If so, how long? Do you have children? How many children?

4) What do you "do for a living"? Are you happy doing it? If you could do anything else, what would it be? (this is the adult version of "what do you want to be when you grow up?" question)

5) List five of your Favorite Things.

6) List three (or more if you chose to do so) of your favorite hobbies.

7) How long have you had your LJ? What does your LJ name mean, and why did you chose it for yourself?

8) Tell me what you consider your best personality trait, and what you consider your worst

You Are a Lynx

You are a quiet observer of the world around you. Your wisdom comes from listening carefully.

You've always been extra sensitive and aware. And it's made it difficult for you to fit in.

You see past people's outward personas. You are able to penetrate a stranger's soul.

What you've learned about people is both beautiful and ugly. And you keep these secrets to yourself.

I totally expected to be a Cougar...

From knowing that if I don't do it, it likely won't get done. Pretty sad that, my personal strength is assuming that the entire world is irresponsible. What's even sadder is, I'm mostly right.

In other news, my American Lush order finally got here today... they upgraded the shipping after I complained. My big stompy boots must be working well because I got the school sorted out this morning as well!

1) Post this meme with your answers.
2) Provide pictures and the names of 3 people.
3) Label which you would marry, shag, and throw off a cliff.

Christian Bale, (my) Oded Fehr, and Liam Neeson

Hum... I think I would have to keep this one.

Yummy! Shagging time... unless you'll allow for polyandry?

I would have to throw him off a cliff simply because he's just not my type.

Thank goodness you didn't give me rawgirl's trio... I'd have a hard time figuring out which to marry and which to shag! (Not that mine was so much easier...)
